The Owner Information section is where the registered owner’s information for the vehicle is input.  From this page, the arresting officer can choose to auto-populate the owner information with the arrestee’s information if the arrestee is the vehicle owner, or can manually enter the vehicle owner’s information.

To auto-populate the vehicle’s owner information with the arrestee information:

1. To expand the Owner Information section, click the section header or the + in the header bar
2. Click Yes to Populate Owner Information with Arrestee Information
3. Review auto-populated data

 

To manually enter the vehicle’s owner information:

1. To expand the Owner Information section, click the section header or the + in the header bar
2. Enter the owner’s information:
   1. Name
   2. Address (Street # and Street Name)
   3. City
   4. State
   5. Zip Code
   6. Date of Birth

 

To continue with the DWI Arrest draft, the officer can move to the Vehicle Notes section or can click the Save button above the case menu and move to the appropriate page by clicking on a tab in the case menu at the right side of the screen.
