The Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus section is where the arresting officer enters the arrestee’s results from the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test including: Lack of Smooth Pursuit, Distinct Nystagmus at Maximum Deviation, Nystagmus Onset Prior to 45 Degrees, Vertical Nystagmus and Observations.

To enter Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test results:
- To expand the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus section, click the section header or + in header bar
- Lack of Smooth Pursuit:
- Left Eye column: select Yes if there was a lack of smooth pursuit; otherwise select No
- Right Eye column: select Yes if there was lack of smooth pursuit; otherwise select No
- Distinct Nystagmus at Maximum Deviation:
- Left Eye column: select Yes if there was distinct nystagmus at the maximum deviation; otherwise select No
- Right Eye column: select Yes if there was distinct nystagmus at the maximum deviation; otherwise select No
- Nystagmus Onset Prior to 45 Degrees:
- Left Eye column: select Yes if there was nystagmus onset prior to 45 degrees; otherwise select No
- Right Eye column: select Yes if there was nystagmus onset prior to 45 degrees; otherwise select No
- Vertical Nystagmus:
- Left Eye column: select Yes if there was vertical nystagmus; otherwise select No
- Right Eye column: select Yes if there was vertical nystagmus; otherwise select No
- Observations: Enter any additional Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus observations made on the arrestee
To continue with the DWI Arrest draft, the officer can move to any of the additional Field Test sections by clicking on the section header or the + symbol in the header bar; or can continue with the DWI Arrest draft and move to the appropriate page by clicking on a tab in the case menu at the right side of the screen.
