Home Address
DWI Arrest Process > Arrestee Information > Home Address

The Home Address section is where the arrestee’s home address is input.  From this page, the officer can review the auto-populated arrestee’s home address, manually enter the arrestee’s home address, enter additional home addresses, edit a previously entered home address, or delete a previously entered home address.

NOTE:  At least one Home Address for the arrestee is required.

When the card swipe of the arrestee’s driver’s license or state ID card returns information about the arrestee, the system auto-populates the arrestee’s Home Address.

If information is returned by a successful card swipe or OMV database search:

  1. To expand the Home Address section, click on the section header or the + in the header bar
  2. Review auto-populated Home Address for accuracy

When no data is available by the card swipe or the OMV database search, the arresting officer has the ability to enter the arrestee’s Home Address manually into the DWI Arrest draft.

To manually enter the arrestee’s Home Address:

  1. To expand the Home Address section, click on the section header or the + in the header bar
  2. Click the Add Address button
  3. Enter the arrestee’s home address:
    1. Street Number and Street Name
    2. City
    3. State
    4. Zip Code
  4. Click the Save button

To enter an additional Home Address:

  1. Click the Add Address button
  2. Enter an additional home address for the arrestee:
    1. Street Number and Street Name
    2. City
    3. State
    4. Zip Code
  3. Click the Save button

 

To edit a previously entered Home Address:

  1. Click the Edit button next to the address to change
  2. Make desired changes to arrestee’s address
  3. Click the Save button

 

To delete a previously entered Home Address:

  1. Click theicon next to the address to delete
  2. Click Ok to confirm deletion

 

To continue with the new DWI Arrest draft, the officer can click the Save button above the case menu and move to the next page for appropriate page by clicking on a tab in the case menu at the right side of the screen.
