Crash Information
DWI Arrest Process > Incident/Charges/COA > Crash Information

The Crash Information section is where the arresting officer enters details when the incident involves a vehicle accident including: Crash #, whether there was Property Damage, Injury, Serious Injury, a Fatality, or if the driver Left the Scene of the Accident.

NOTE:  If a crash occurred during the incident, Fatality and Injury are required selections.

To enter details when the incident involves a vehicle accident:

  1. To expand the Crash Information section, click the section header or the + in the header bar
  2. Enter the Crash #
  3. Property Damage:  Select Yes if the accident involved property damage; otherwise select No
  4. Injury:  Select Yes if the accident involved minor bodily Injury; otherwise select No
  5. Serious Injury:  Select Yes if the accident involved serious bodily Injury; otherwise select No
  6. Fatality:  Select Yes if the accident involved a death; otherwise select No
  7. Left Scene of the Accident:  Select Yes if arrestee left the accident scene; otherwise select No

 

To continue with the DWI Arrest draft, the officer can move to either the Witness InformationProbable CauseNarrative/Incident Notes or Certification of Arrest sections.  To expand a section, click on the section header or the + symbol in the header bar.
