The Witness Information section is where the arresting officer enters details for any witnesses to the incident.  The officer has the ability to add a witness, add multiple witnesses, or delete a previously added witness.  The LADRIVING system allows the arresting officer to enter an unlimited number of witnesses; however, only the first three (3) witnesses will be printed on the forms.

To add a witness to the incident:

1. To expand the Witness Information section, click the section header or the + in the header bar
2. Click the Add Witness button
3. Enter Witness Information
   1. Name *
   2. Address: Street # and Street Name *
   3. City *
   4. State *
   5. Zip Code
   6. Phone Number
4. Click the Save All button

 

To add multiple witnesses to the incident:

1. To expand the Witness Information section, click the section header or the + in the header bar
2. Click the Add Witness button
3. Enter Witness Information
   1. Name *
   2. Address: Street # and Street Name *
   3. City *
   4. State *
   5. Zip Code
   6. Phone Number
4. Click the Add Another Witness button
5. Enter Witness Information
6. If this was the last witness, click the Save All button; otherwise, go back to Step 4

To delete a previously added witness:

1. Click theicon next to the witness to delete
2. Click Ok to confirm deletion

 

To continue with the DWI Arrest draft, the officer moves to Probable Cause section.  To expand the Probable Cause section, click the section header or the + in the header bar.
