The Certification of Arrest section is where the arresting officer documents the reason for coming in contact with the driver.  This information is printed on page 2 of the Arrestee’s Rights form. 

 

Certification of Arrest section on Incident Information page

 

To enter Certification of Arrest comments:

1. To expand the Certification of Arrest section, click the section header or the + in the header bar
2. Click the Add/Edit Certification of Arrest button or the text field to popup the editing window
3. Enter the reason for coming in contact with the driver in the editor window's text field
4. Click the Ok button

 

To continue with the DWI Arrest draft, the officer can click the Save button above the case menu and move to the appropriate page by clicking on a tab in the case menu at the right side of the screen.
