The Miranda Information section is where the arresting officer enters details about the arrestee’s Miranda Rights including:  Date and Time the arrestee was advised of their Miranda Rights prior to questioning and whether the arrestee invoked their Miranda Rights.

To enter Miranda Information:

1. Select Yes if the arrestee was advised of their Miranda rights prior to questioning.
2. Enter the Date and Time the arrestee was advised of their Miranda Rights, or click the Now button to input the current time.
3. Select Yes if the arrestee invoked their Miranda Rights; or select No if the arrestee did not invoke their Miranda Rights.

To continue with the DWI Arrest draft, the officer moves to the Arrestee’s Rights Information section.  To expand the Arrestee’s Rights Information section, click on the section header or the + symbol in the header bar.
