The Left Side Navigation Menu is featured to the left of every screen and displays links to the areas within LADRIVING available to the user. The LADRIVING system defaults all users’ Left Side Navigation Menu to the expanded position.  In this expanded position, users can see the full text for navigation options.  All users have access to the Home and Help options.  The Home button will display a different User Home page based on the user’s role.  The Help button will provide an informative guide to the different areas of the LADRIVING system.

After a user becomes more familiar with the LADRIVING system they may choose to collapse the Left Side Navigation Menu.  In the collapsed position, the menu bar is minimized to show icons, instead of full text, for the options available to the user; however, a user can still mouse-over the icon to display what the link represents.  To enable this functionality, users may select the “Left Side Navigation Menu closed by default” checkbox found on the User Settings page.
