Users with the role of Supervisor are directed to the Awaiting Approval view of their User Home Page upon login to the LADRIVING system.  From this view, the Supervisor is able to see a list of drafts or supplements that have been submitted for approval by an officer within their agency command.  The supervisor can choose to open and view a draft or supplement or can take ownership of the approval process for a draft or supplement that has been submitted for approval.

In the Awaiting Approval view, a Supervisor is able to see a list of recent:

• Drafts and supplements that have been submitted for supervisor approval
• Drafts and supplements that have been “claimed” by a supervisor        

The Awaiting Approval view features a table with a list of drafts and supplements that have been submitted for approval and column headers the Supervisor can click to change the sort order.  The columns provide the following information:

• Type – identifies whether the item is a Draft or Supplement
• Arrestee Name – displays the Last Name, First Name of the arrestee
• Date of Arrest – displays the arrest date in the MM/DD/YY format
• Status – indicates whether the item is Awaiting Approval or Claimed/Pending
• Case/Draft # – provides the identification number for the item
  • Draft # format:  YYYYMMDD-HH:MM:SS-xx (xx= arrestee’s initials)
  • Supplement # format:  YYYYMMDD-#######-x (x= letter of supplement)
  • Officer – provides the name of the officer that submitted the draft or supplement
• Action – provides icons for actions the user can take for the item        

 

Drafts and supplements with an “Awaiting Approval” status have been submitted for approval by an Officer within their agency command.  The Supervisor can click on the Arrestee Name to open and view the details of a draft or supplement that has been submitted for approval; or the Supervisor can click the Claim button under the Action column to take ownership of the approval process for a draft or supplement that has been submitted for approval.

Drafts and supplements with a “Claimed/Pending” status have been taken ownership of by a Supervisor for the approval process.  An item that has been claimed is locked from being selected by another Supervisor for the approval process.
