Once a DWI Arrest case is approved by a supervisor, no changes can be made to that case.  If the officer has additional information to add to the case, a Case Supplement must be created.  A Case Supplement is an appendage to the original DWI Arrest case within the LADRIVING system which allows additional details or attachments to be associated to the original case.  The officer can supplement an approved case with any of the following information:

• BAC %
• Chemical Test Results
• Recidivism
• Court Status
• Related Arrests
• Witness Information
• Additional/Revised Charges
• Evidence
• Vehicle Information
• License Status
• Case Status
• Voided Arrest
• Judicial Decree
• Arresting Officer Information
• Narrative
• Attachments

 

Case Supplement

 

To create a case supplement to an approved DWI Arrest case from the User Home page:

1. Click the Home option in the Left Side Navigation Menu.
2. Click the ➕ Add Case Supplement icon under the Action column for the approved case.
3. Select Yes to confirm adding a supplement to the case.
4. Select the reason for the supplement under the Report Updates area.
5. Enter supplement notes in the Narrative text area.
6. Click the Submit Supplement button.

 

Add a Case Supplement from a User Home Page 

 

To create a case supplement from an approved DWI Arrest Case Home page:

1. Open the approved DWI Arrest case.
2. Click the Create Supplement button at the bottom of the page.
3. Select the reason for the supplement under the Report Updates area.
4. Enter supplement notes in the Narrative text area.
5. Click the Submit Supplement button.
