LADRIVING (Louisiana Drunk Driving Data Management) is an automated DWI Processing System used throughout the state to electronically capture DWI/DUI arrest information. The LADRIVING software allows Louisiana law enforcement officers to create DWI arrest reports digitally, provides an electronic workflow approval process, and offers state-wide DWI/DUI statistical reports.
The LADRIVING software was developed by Geocent, LLC. at the behest of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission to:
- Streamlines the DWI arrest process and encourages standardization of arrest forms
- Increases efficiency and reduces data entry effort
- Eliminates duplication of arrest information on multiple forms
- Validates data for accuracy and minimizes data entry errors
- Offers ease-of-use tools including drop-down lists, calendar controls and type-ahead features
- Auto-saves DWI arrest drafts for future completion
- Enables viewing and printing of DWI arrest forms auto-populated with arrest data, officer information, and electronic signatures
- Provides a formal workflow process from new arrest entry, submittal and approval
- Allows officers to search all DWI arrests state-wide by up to 32 search parameters
- Offers push button state-wide aggregate DWI reports for use in statistical analysis, trend analysis and personnel deployment
- Integrates with Intoxilyzer 9000 Breathalyzer system for automated entry of test results
- Electronically distributes arrest information to multiple District Attorneys and Prosecutors
- Provides automated delivery of case information to Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles
